What kind of working condition is electric valves suitable for?

Electric valve device is to realize the valve program control, automatic control and remote control indispensable equipment, its motion process can be controlled by the size of the stroke, torque or axial thrust. Because the operating characteristics and utilization of electric valve devices depend on the type of valve, device work specification and valve position in the pipeline or equipment, therefore, the correct choice of electric valve devices, to prevent overload phenomenon (working torque is higher than the control torque) is crucial. 

Because the electric device in the electric valve is an electromechanical equipment, its working condition is greatly affected by its working environment. In general, electric valves are located in the following working conditions:

1. Flammable, explosive gas or dust environment;

2. The environment on the ship or dock (salt spray, mold, moisture);

3. Occasions with violent vibration;

4. Occasions prone to fire;

5. Environment in humid tropics and dry tropics;

6. The medium temperature of the pipeline is as high as 480℃ and above;

7. Indoor installation or outdoor use with protective measures;

8. Outdoor installation with wind, sand, rain, sunshine and other erosion;

9. Ambient temperature below -20℃;

10. Easy to be flooded or immersed in water;

11. Radioactive material environment (nuclear power plant and radioactive material test facility).
